Admiralty Yacht Vacations Bareboat Charters offers charter yachts from many different owner/managers, each responsible for setting the prices, rental policies, additions, exclusions and other conditions. The prices set forth in these web pages are provided for comparison purposes to assist in planning your Yacht Vacation and are subject to availability and change. Many operators do not change their prices from year to year, others set the rates in the early fall for the upcoming season. The dates listed for the rate periods are the best information we have. We will notify you if there are changes to specific prices when you inquire about specific yachts. The lowest prices given for a particular model boat, in a specific time period are or were available. The earlier you book the more likely those lower price boats are available! There are a number of factors which determine the price.

Each yacht we offer is independently owned and/or managed by other individuals and firms. Each has its own criteria for determining if you are qualified to captain a BareBoat. Each has their own deposit/insurance arrangements.

Seasonal Pricing

A number of our clients have had questions concerning pricing. This is not surprising, it is confusing. The exact same vessel goes out for near half the price in October as in does 7 weeks later. This seasonal pricing encourages booking outside the most preferred times. If your schedule is flexible, take advantage of the edges of these time periods. Below are the basic Caribbean time-rate periods. Dates not mentioned have different interpretations by the various owner/managers and will be personally quoted once some basic time and boat decisions have been made.

Boat Age & Maintenance

Newer boats have a higher market value and usually rent at a premium. This translates into shinier bright work, and perhaps a better chance of a carefree charter. A good maintenance program and a caring operator is a better indicator of the reliability of a boat than paid advertisements and boat age alone. You will have a good idea at the end of your charter how an owner/operator fares in this regard. AYV will have a good idea, and share these insights before you go out..

Special Pricing and Promotions

A variety of specials and promotions become available at different times. This normally is a result or anticipation of bookings shortfall perhaps do to a marketing plan failure, new competition in the business, even air transportation problems. Although these special offers are occasionally offered here, these discounts are limited in scope. We monitor and offer these discounts and specials (if available) when you inquire about a charter. Extra days at same price is a favorite promotion in the non high seasons. Short notice booking discounts on limited dates are also occasionally available. If your schedule is inflexible, these discounts may not be appropriate.
